If a patient uses an insurance plan that has been recently added to the practice but the plan does not appear in the drop down box.
Go to Lists
Click on Insurance companies
Double click on the new Insurance and check to see if the payer ID box has a number in it.
If not simply put a "0" (zero) in it
The new insurance should now be available in the drop down selection.
